Aikido Sydney City Centre offers weekly classes in the Kenkyukai (research group) style of Aikido, a beautiful and dynamic form of moving meditation and non-violent self-defense. Beginners are welcome to start anytime! Classes are led by Berin Mackenzie (4th dan), an Australian instructor who lived and studied intensively in Japan under the great Takeda Yoshinobu Shihan, an 8th dan Aikido master.

We are conveniently located a short distance from Central Railway Station, inside Victoria Park, and aim to develop sensitivity in movement while fostering an exploratory and creative approach to Aikido study through dynamic, non-violent martial arts training and exploration. Our Aikido classes in Sydney's city centre are led by MAIA-accredited instructors, and are high-energy, inspiring and great fun!
